Having a role-model to look-up to is an important element for encouraging girls to pursue careers in STEM fields. Through the Miss Florida Scholarship Program's Sunshine Princess Program, Anastasia has been able to mentor two girls closely and show them the impact one can have on her community.
Lumi
Lumi
Lumi has been Anastasia's Protege since March of 2021. She loves to read, ride horses, and make art. Lumi wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up.
Cortlyn
Cortlyn
Cortlyn has been Anastasia's Sunshine Princess since January 2022. She raises plants, chickens, and a rabbit. Cortlyn's favorite subject is math.
